THERE'S 24 PAGES THAT HAVE BEEN PUT SIDE-BY-SIDE FOR THIS; READ FROM LEFT TO RIGHT, UP TO DOWN

Alright, so back in early October I kind of participated in the 24h Comic event. If you're not familiar with the challenge, basically your goal is to create a 24-page comic out of scratch within 24 hours. And yup, that's exactly what I did. I did post this on Tumblr a long time ago, for whatever reason I couldn't get myself to post it here any earlier than this but hey, better late than never.

So. When I did the thing I streamed the whole thing on my Picarto account. I did have to restart my computer every now and then due to my computer getting too stressed out, and I did have some issues with the stream but everything went alright it seems. I started at 12 o’clock on Satuday and ended at 8am on Sunday, so it took me 20 hours to make this. I didn't have any big breaks really, aside from getting drink refills and restarting the computer regularly, like my only real break was a 30 minute dinner break. None the less I powered through the thing somehow lol

I got the idea for this comic from ArtPrompt.org, I let the generator pick me three creatures that I'd use as the base for the story, and as you might've quessed, I got a sphinx, a hippogrill calf and a chicken adventurer out of the thing. Somehow I managed to make this out of those three things. IDK how. Witchcraft maybe. /Shrugs

So... yeah, I don't have much to say about this really. I finished sketching the comic at 19 hours but I was tired enough to just give up so I never really properly inked this or anything, I just slapped some shading onto each page (which took an hour) and left it at that. I did edit this version I posted here a little bit, I added some color to the background and colored the inks, but aside from that this is the exact same comic as it was back in October (you can look at the Tumblr version if you wish to compare).

I'm not really all that happy with how this turned out, I realized far too late that I had forgotten that I wanted some dialouge on the second last page about stuff (including making Momma Chicken seem less like a poo face and explaining crap), there's spots here and there where I had forgotten to write words (like on page six HippoG says "Mom and left...", where I obviously accidentally skipped "dad" in the sentence), among other crap. Also yes, this was meant to be tongue-in-cheek in the  begining, somehow my bloodlust caused it to get really silly and serious at the end, oh well.

My apologies for my horrible handwriting BTW, as well as my sarcastic comments that are spread out through the pages. As well as how messy all these sketches are in general.
